The Venezuelan President, Hugo Chavez visited the United Nations on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 and made some comments about U.S. President, George W. Bush. The nominees for the American Music Awards 2006 were revealed on September 19th at a press conference in Beverly Hills. The New York Yankees celebrated last night as they clinched their way into the playoffs. Although they lost to the Toronto Blue Jays last night 3-2, they won yet another division title. This is their 9th consecutive AL East title, all thanks to the Boston Red Sox who lost 8-2 against the Minnesota Twins.
It looks like OCTOBER is going to be a very interesting month in beisbol and for New York. So, are there any YANKEES fans out there?
