DEPORTES: MLB PLAYOFF UPDATE

- After losing a lot of their key players, the New York Mets demonstrated that they can handle it. El boricua, Carlos Delgado made 4 hits during the game giving the Mets a 6-5 victory against the L.A. Dodgers. (Game 2 is scheduled for TODAY @ 8pm.)
- The N.Y. Yankees vs. Detroit Tigers Game 2 was postponed due to the rain. Game 2 has been re-scheduled for TODAY @ 1:05pm. Yankees lead the series 1-0.
- Oakland Athletics' second baseman, Mark Ellis broke his right index finger during his at-bat in the 9th inning. The Athletics beat the Twins 5-2 leading the series 2-0. Game 3 is scheduled for Friday @ 4pm.
- Game 2 of the Cardinals vs. Padres is scheduled for TODAY @ 4pm. The Cardinals lead the series 1-0.
