Films: Cantos Latinos
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, channel THIRTEEN (PBS) will be showing TODAY:
La Cocina Cubana: Secretos De Mi Abuela (4-5pm)
A film that explores Cuban culinary traditions and pays tribute to Cuba's best chefs: it's abuelas.
Mi Mambo! (7-8pm)
Documentary film that profiles the Harbor Conservatory for the Performing Arts, a vibrant cultural insitution that is changing lives in East Harlem.
NATURE: Cuba: Wild Island of the Caribbean (8-9pm)
A program that explores the intriguing wildlife of the preserves of Cuba, unrestricted for the first time in nearly half a century.
